Karen + Len // Intimate Wedding at Locust Grove Estate

What an amazing day in the Hudson Valley!

I absolutely love when I get the chance to photograph weddings at one of my all time favorite venues, Locust Grove Estate. I’ve done a few weddings in the past at Locust Grove, and I always look forward to coming back to this venue and the surrounding gardens. Karen and Len are two beautiful souls who love to spend time with their family, and they knew they wanted to have a small intimate wedding with all of their close friends and family attending. I could not have been more excited to meet all of their loved ones, and to capture their special day.

Locust Grove Estate was a great choice as we had lots of nearby greenery to work with. As an added bonus, there’s also the beautiful overlook to the Hudson River where I always love to take my couples for portraits and first looks.

Karen and Len were both married previously, so they really wanted their wedding to be very intimate, and to spend as much time with their guests as possible.  Unlike most people on their wedding day, Karen and Len showed up together, hand in hand, already a united front.  I couldn't help but smile at this.

Karen and Len, you and your day were pure joy, and I relive this day in my heart often. Thank you for the gift of this memory.Everyone laughed and danced. Everyone just ENJOYED. And it was beautiful. It was all so incredibly beautiful. I felt so honored to be a part of your wedding.
